Most common complaints

standard digital SOFOM flow: you apply, an email arrives and sometimes a phone message; the answer lands the same business day if you submit before the 2 PM central cut-off

Credilikeme in one sentence: small SOFOM, low ticket, real urgency

Credilikeme operates as a SOFOM E.N.R. since 2019, headquartered in Mexico City. It is not a bank, doesn't take deposits, and doesn't pull payroll like BBVA does. What it does is lend you short-term money at high APR in exchange for fast approval without asking for your full financial CV.

The banner promise — «loan approved in minutes» — is real in the technical sense: the system's automatic response does arrive in 5-20 minutes. But between initial approval and the deposit landing in your CLABE there are three more steps: phone verification, digital contract signing and SPEI order. Best case, the money is in your account within 2-4 hours. More realistic: same business day if you apply before 14:00.

The real APR — breakdown by ticket

What's published on the main page doesn't always match what you sign in the contract. Three observed bands on typical 2026 profiles:

Is Credilikeme reliable? What SIPRES, Buró and CONDUSEF say

Yes, Credilikeme is registered in the SIPRES registry of CONDUSEF as a SOFOM E.N.R. That means two things: it pays the annual fee to the regulator and acknowledges CONDUSEF's jurisdiction for formal complaints. CNBV doesn't regulate it — E.N.R. stands for Non-Regulated Entity, which confuses people but doesn't imply illegality. Almost every fast-loan SOFOM in Mexico is E.N.R.

On the bureau: Credilikeme both pulls and reports. That matters because some users sign thinking «since it's an online loan it won't show in Buró». It shows. Pay on time and it adds positive history — useful especially if you come from a thin bureau. Default and it shows up too, with the same weight as a bank default.

Practical conclusion: if you qualify for BBVA Personal, BBVA wins easily — the APR is 4 to 7 times lower. Credilikeme and Kueski play on a different board: real urgency without formal banking access. Between Credilikeme and Kueski, Credilikeme usually comes out a bit cheaper for medium tickets (15K-25K medium-term), Kueski wins on pure speed.

Real requirements for approval

The official page lists four requirements. In practice there are six if you want to be approved on the first try:

  1. Valid INE — old IFE not accepted, nor driver's license as a substitute.
  2. Age 21-65 — the lower bound is real; under-21s are out of automatic scoring.
  3. Interbank CLABE in your name — preferably at a large bank (BBVA, Santander, Banorte). Fintech accounts like Nu or Hey work but the system sometimes flags them as «additional verification» and delays half a day extra.
  4. Income proof — a two-month bank statement usually suffices. They don't ask for formal payroll slip except on tickets over 20,000 pesos.
  5. Bureau with at least one prior loan paid — they don't say so, but the approval engine rejects fully empty bureau. If you've never borrowed, you'll most likely be rejected even meeting the rest.
  6. No active major defaults — a small closed default doesn't block; a current default or MOP > 4 does.

What happens when you default with Credilikeme

Day 1-3: nothing. The system doesn't send hard alerts the first days.

Day 4-10: automated SMS and email reminders start. Neutral tone, reminder.

Day 11-30: calls. Here some users report the call center contacts reference people. It's within Mexican legal framework as long as you provided those contacts at signing. If calls fall outside CONDUSEF hours (8:00-21:00) or are excessive, that's grounds for formal complaint.

Day 30+: negative bureau report and transfer to external collections. The negative bureau report is removed when you settle and request update; temporary score damage stays.

For which profile yes, for which not

It does make the shortlist:

It is not your profile if:

The detail almost nobody checks at signing

The auto-debit clause: by default, signing authorizes Credilikeme to charge the monthly to your CLABE on the cutoff date. That sounds convenient but has two effects. First, if your account has low balance that day, the charge rejection counts as «non-payment» as if you decided not to pay. Second, disabling auto-debit once signed requires a formal email to support and a 5-7 day wait. Many users don't know they can disable it and simply close the bank account, which creates a bigger bureaucratic mess. If you want to pay manually, request auto-debit removal the same day you sign the first contract.

Kreditano verdict

Kreditano verdict: Legitimate. For small tickets (5,000-15,000 pesos) and real urgency, Credilikeme makes the shortlist. If your payroll is formal and you can wait three days, BBVA Personal or Banorte come out clearly cheaper. Check SIPRES before signing.

Who it's for and who it isn't

✓ Good fit

Use Credilikeme if you need a small or mid-sized amount in hours, don't want to visit a branch and accept a higher APR than a bank for speed.

ℹ️ Not your fit if

Skip it if your payroll is formal, your Buró is clean and you have a week of margin — the bank offer almost always lands cheaper. Also skip it if you're already at the limit with another SOFOM, because cascading debt becomes unpayable.

Requirements to apply

How to apply step by step

  1. You fill the online form: amount, term and basic personal data.
  2. The institution pulls your Buró (hard pull only if you accept the offer).
  3. You get the answer — approved, conditional or declined — in minutes for a SOFOM, or one to three business days for a bank.
  4. If you accept, you sign the digital contract and provide your bank details.
  5. The deposit lands on the CLABE you provided (same day for digital SOFOMs, one to three days for a bank).

Frequently asked questions

Does Credilikeme check the Buró de Crédito?

Yes. Every regulated institution in Mexico checks Buró before approving. The difference is what they do with the information: Credilikeme works with clean profiles or minor delinquencies, as long as you can show current repayment capacity.

How long does Credilikeme take to disburse?

For online loans, the deposit usually lands the same business day if you complete the request before the cut-off (typically 2pm CT). For traditional bank loans, one to three business days to the CLABE you register.

Can I prepay without a penalty?

Yes, it's your right under Mexican law. Credilikeme applies prepayments to principal, which reduces future interest. Check the contract for any early-cancellation fee before signing.

Is Credilikeme registered and reliable?

Credilikeme is legitimate. Registered as a SOFOM E.N.R. in CONDUSEF's SIPRES since 2019. It is not a bank, not CNBV-regulated, but operates within Mexican legal framework. The high APR (130-280%) places it within the regulated segment; it makes it expensive.

How much can I borrow from Credilikeme the first time?

The first loan almost always starts at 3,000-8,000 pesos for a standard profile. If your bureau history holds up and you pay on time, the limit rises to 15,000-30,000 pesos on the second or third loan. It's a gradual build, not a jump.

Does Credilikeme show in Buró if I pay on time?

Yes. Credilikeme reports both timely payments and defaults. Paying on time adds positive history, which does help your score, especially if you come from a thin or no-history bureau.

Can I apply to Credilikeme with an active default on another loan?

It depends on the size and age of the default. A small closed default (MOP 2 already regularized) doesn't block. A current default or active MOP 4 or higher reads as risk and the system rejects automatically.

What happens if I prepay with Credilikeme?

Under Mexican law you may prepay without penalty. Credilikeme applies the payment to principal, reducing future interest. If you do, request formal closure by email — some users report the system keeps computing interest until updated manually.

Why did Credilikeme ask me for geolocation permission?

It's part of antifraud scoring. The SOFOM checks that your application location matches the registered address and the CLABE's activity. Standard practice in the sector. If sharing it bothers you, in some browsers you can deny it and still submit, but the system flags additional manual verification.

How to verify on your own

To confirm any institution is active, check the CNBV register directly or the CONDUSEF SIPRES register. Individual complaints are reported on the Buró de Entidades Financieras.

This page is informational and reflects public data as of the date shown. Financial conditions, requirements, terms and fees are set exclusively by Credilikeme. Verify directly with the institution and check the CNBV and CONDUSEF SIPRES registers before making any financial decision.
